In Eastwood, we rebuilt a damaged deck and designed a new extended outdoor area using Merbau decking boards. The project also included the removal of old windows and sliding doors, with brand-new replacements installed to improve function, light, and overall appeal.
Deck Rebuild and Extension
This Eastwood renovation project focused on restoring and extending outdoor living space while upgrading the home’s windows and doors for improved function and street appeal. The original timber deck showed signs of rot and deterioration, prompting a partial demolition and rebuild using durable, long-lasting Merbau decking boards. Luxecraft then designed and constructed an extended deck area, providing more usable outdoor space for entertaining and relaxing. As part of the transformation, we also removed the home’s ageing windows and sliding doors, replacing them with modern, energy-efficient alternatives to improve natural light, airflow, and insulation. The final result is a cohesive, functional upgrade that connects the interior and exterior beautifully.
Scope of Work:
- Demolition and removal of rotted sections of the existing deck
- Design and construction of a new, extended deck using Merbau decking boards
- Removal of old windows and sliding doors
- Supply and installation of new aluminium or timber-framed windows and door units
- Finishing, sealing, and clean-up for all new installations
